FOR - Homeless, sheltered, near homeless, and struggling women veterans of any military service are welcome to this program. One of the things damaged during stress, trauma, homelessness, is our sense of self - our empowerment as a valuable human being, our ability to cope with challenges, our ability to heal ourselves and receive help.

W'VET program offers practical and effective personal empowerment training in a supportive environment.  This program consists of individual and group training and support.  Training will include stress relief techniques, self healing techniques, alternative modalities to alleviate PTSD symptoms, and personal empowerment energy oriented tools.  Each woman will be gifted Reiki I training for self healing.

A Woman Veterans Writing Retreat will be presented in monthly format based on the work of Maxine Hong Kingston, “Veterans of War, Veterans of Peace” program.  It is our intention to provide a 2 day writing and healing retreat quarterly.

*there is no cost to the veteran for these services,

however each is expected to outreach to other veterans in need and support through volunteering when possible.
